Quote template

A quote says what a project costs. With stages and a payment plan, it also says when you get paid — and that's exactly where trust is built.

What belongs in a quote?

A description of the work, line items with prices, a timeframe, validity, and payment terms. For project work, it's worth framing the line items as stages with acceptance criteria right away.

Quote or proposal?

The terms are often used interchangeably. A quote is more of an estimate, while a proposal is usually binding. If in doubt, check the exact distinction for your country — this isn't legal advice.

From quote to secured budget

Instead of a PDF and hoping for the best: set up the stages in Stipme and share the link. Your client sees everything transparently and reserves the budget with the payment partner Stripe before you start.
