The client pays hosting and licences directly
Hosting, premium plugins and theme licences are billed to the client. You set everything up, the client pays the provider directly – and covers costs and renewals themselves.
List plugins in the criteria
Not "set up plugins", but the concrete list: contact form, cookie banner, SEO plugin, backup. Whoever ticks off the criterion knows exactly what's included.
Offer maintenance afterwards as its own Stip
Maintenance is ongoing work and doesn't belong in a relaunch. Offer it right after launch – the "Maintenance Retainer" template is made for that.
Frequently asked questions
Who pays for premium plugins?
Easiest is the client directly. Write that into the project so there are no surprises.
What about maintenance after launch?
Use the "Maintenance Retainer" template as a follow-up project.
Why Stipme instead of an invoice?
Your client reserves the budget for each milestone in advance with the payment partner Stripe. You start with security, and they only pay on approval — automatically after 72 hours (excluding weekends).
