Clarify the die-cut outline upfront
Nothing can be printed without a die-cut outline. Clarify before starting who supplies it – client or printer. If it's missing, the deadline shifts, not your responsibility.
Get print approval in writing
The client confirms the print-ready files in writing, an email is enough. That puts the responsibility for content and print run on them – and you have proof.
The client supplies mandatory labelling info
Ingredients, nutritional values, labelling requirements: that expertise sits with the client. You design the layout but don't verify the information. State that in the project.
Frequently asked questions
Who's liable for printing errors?
By approving the print files, the client confirms the content. State that in the final criterion.
Are flavour/product variants included?
Only if named. Each additional variant can be its own milestone.
Why Stipme instead of an invoice?
Your client reserves the budget for each milestone in advance with the payment partner Stripe. You start with security, and they only pay on approval — automatically after 72 hours (excluding weekends).
