Secure the date before the workshop
The workshop date is your preparation foundation: interviews conducted, agenda agreed, room booked. The milestone before the workshop secures exactly this lead-in work.
Cap the number of participants
A workshop with 20 participants is a different format than one with 5. Cap the number ("up to 8 participants") – more participants means more facilitation and is offered separately.
Define the outcome as a document
"Insights from the workshop" is vague. Define it: a PDF with findings, decisions and an action plan. When approving, the client can tick off what's in it.
Frequently asked questions
What about a last-minute cancellation?
Set a cancellation rule, e.g. from 7 days before, the workshop counts as delivered.
Remote or on-site?
Both work – list travel costs separately.
